Set entry and exit rules, position sizing, and limits yourself, or describe an idea and let the AI Strategy Lab draft rules you can review and edit.

Test with history or paper trading
Run a backtest against historical data with fees and slippage stated up front, then paper trade with simulated money to see how it behaves in current markets.

Review the risks, then decide
Check the results, the limits, and what could go wrong. Where supported, you can activate automation — with a clear confirmation step and a stop button that's always one click away.
Safeguards at every step
Paper first, always
New strategies start in Draft and can only move to Paper Trading after validation. Live trading needs a separate, explicit confirmation.
AI is a drafting tool
AI suggestions are treated as untrusted input. They're checked against a strict format and your risk limits before anything runs.
Limits apply before orders
Maximum position size, daily loss limits, and order caps are checked before an order is sent — not after.
Safe shutdown
If a connection drops, a session expires, or an order is rejected, the agent moves to Error and stops placing new orders until you review it.
